I am a mobile video game and software developer for Carbonated, Inc. currently residing in Manhattan Beach, CA and originally from Fredericksburg, VA. I am also a partner at ROOT 76, a Richmond-based video game studio which opened its doors in October 2014 and is progressing towards completing its first title.

While attending The University of Virginia, I joined SRRN Games, an independent game development studio in Richmond, VA. With SRRN, I provided key contributions to various integral company projects, such as the critically-acclaimed iOS RPG Ash, its Konami-published follow-up Ash II: Shadows, the Kickstarter project Always Outnumbered, its free companion minigame Always Outnumbered: Survival, and several undisclosed internal projects.

I also worked at Timmons Group from November 2014 to June 2016 in their Enterprise Solutions division developing GIS applications, ranging from private large enterprise applications to one-off mobile apps such as Find MO Fish, MO Hunting, and Fall Colors for the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Working at small studios necessitates the balancing of a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, and I've cultivated a deep and varied skill set to that end. I've worked extensively with technologies such as UnityC#, SwiftObjective-CiOSJava, Android,  XNA (RIP), C++.NETJavaScript,  PHP, and Python in mobile multi-platform video game development, mobile enterprise application development, mobile client application development, tools design and implementation, and video game content creation and management application design and implementation. On various projects I've also contributed to video game feature design, led video game balancing efforts, and participated in application quality assurance testing and debugging. In certain specialized instances I have even generated game content such as designing character special moves and composing game music. Employing these skills, I have significantly contributed to projects deployed to a wide variety of platforms, including iPhoneiPadWindows PCMac-OSXAdobe Flash, a variety of Android tablets and handheld smartphones, and Blackberry Torch handheld smartphones.

I enjoy spending way too much of my free time following professional football and enjoying my Dallas Cowboys try not to trip over themselves, investing a stupid amount of time in the career modes of various sports video games, building roundabouts in Cities: Skylines, evading creepers in Minecraft, and reminiscing about vintage first-person shooters and a simpler age of the gaming industry that existed before my professional time. From time to time I also create cacophonies on guitars way too expensive for my relative skill level.
